For our new Plant in Amarante, near Oporto, Portugal, we are looking for an Supply Chain Project Manager based in Portugal and reporting to headquarters in Switzerland.
The objective of the position is to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness and timely delivery to customers within our global supply chain, and to target Supply Chain Excellence.
The successful applicant will have as main missions to optimize and create global flows within our global footprint (US and EMEA) involving our production sites, customers and suppliers.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE:
- Analyze data, identify areas of improvement and define projects to optimize existing flows
- Lead execution of supply chain projects from definition to completion
- Ensure regular reporting to management, to allow seamless decision making
- Animate cross-functional teams to reach project objectives, including logistics, suppliers, inventory, transportation, IT
- Act a facilitator to get road blockers off the way
THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management
- 5+ year working as a Supply Chain Project Manager in an international & multisite environment is a must
- SAP : 5+ year working on a daily basis
- Excel : proficiency required, particularly in using Power Query for efficient data extraction and manipulation.
- Power BI : proficiency required, for data visualization and reporting, transforming complex datasets into actionable insights.
- English : full proficiency, minimum C1, french is a plus;
- Effective communication & reporting skills
- Problem-solving mindset
- Ability to focus & narrow down large & complex topics
