ROLE:
For our new Plant in Amarante, near Oporto, Portugal, we are looking for an Power BI & Data Analytics Business Analyst.
This position goes beyond reporting delivery. It requires a strong analytical mindset, the ability to structure business problems, and the capability to translate data into decisions.
The role combines ownership of Power BI reporting services, leadership of data analytics activities, and business analysis for enterprise applications, with CRM as the first and primary product ownership responsibility. The successful candidate will act as a key bridge between business and IT, shaping how data, analytics, and applications support operational and strategic decisions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE:

Design, development, and evolution of Power BI reports and dashboards aligned with business priorities

Structure and coordinate data analytics and reporting services, ensuring consistency and relevance

Act as Application Business Analyst for reporting and major business applications, with an initial focus on CRM

Assume product ownership responsibilities for assigned applications (e.g. CRM), including backlog definition, prioritisation, and user enablement

Translate complex business needs into functional specifications, data models, and analytical frameworks

Ensure data quality, governance, and coherence across reporting and analytics solutions

Work closely with business and IT stakeholders across countries and functions

Document requirements, processes, decisions, and analytical assumptions
THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING:

Higher education degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field

Fluent in spoken and written English (Mandatory)

Advanced expertise in Power BI (data modelling, DAX, dashboard design)

Strong background in data analytics, including data interpretation and insight generation

Proven experience as an Application Business Analyst, not limited to reporting

Experience with CRM platforms and related business processes (preferred)

At least 5 years of professional experience, with international exposure strongly preferred

Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-structuring capability

Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills

Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural environments

Willingness to travel occasionally.
