For our new Plant in Amarante, near Oporto, Portugal, we are looking for an Master Planner:

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE:

– Plan production sites, subcontractors and suppliers based on customer demand, available capacity, inventory targets and the overall production strategy of Fischer Connectors

– Optimize operations, costs, quality and customer service by leading or actively participating to improvement projects

– Actively participate to cross-functional projects in order to improve purchasing planning, production planning, capacity management, inventory management

– Work in close collaboration with Production (mainly CA sites such as DE, TU, MY, IN), New Product Introduction, Quality, R&D, Finance and Sales teams to support the launch of new products or transfer products from sites to sites

– Improve product flows, logistics and distribution costs from suppliers, subcontractors and production sites to customers

– Support the continuous improvement of the product quality by implementing effective work processes with production sites and quality teams

– Optimize the utilization of the ERP system (SAP) with production sites, planning, master data and IT

– Perform risk analysis and develop mitigation plans

– Implement and analyze KPI’s to better understand and monitor the supply chain

 

THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

Professional skills:

  • Logistics/supply chain engineer or equivalent
  • Min 5 years in a similar environment in an international company
  • Excellent knowledge of an ERP system (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, JD Edwards). SAP is preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Fluent in English, French is a plus

  • Ability to work in a multicultural and cross functional environment
