Technical Sales Specialist

Saint-Prex, Switzerland

In order to expand our Sales Team, we are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist based in Saint-Prex, Switzerland, to support the commercial growth of our business of physical connectivity solutions in the Swiss (80%) and European and Middle East market (20%), building on connector, cable assembly and electronic solutions.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE

  • Conduct inspiring virtual and face to face customer visits over the entire Swiss territory (up to 40% of working time), at times together with the Solutions team
  • Generate and maintain good commercial relationship with customers for long-term cooperation
  • Understand customer’s technical challenges and collaborate with the Solutions team to transform them into technical-commercial proposals
  • Nurture and expand our customer base, by scouting and contacting new customers
  • Manage your own incoming sales leads
  • Build, manage and continuously improve your sales pipeline
  • Prepare monthly review and reporting with the goal of preparing short-medium term tactical actions together with your direct manager


THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

  • Experience in Customer facing and technical sales (min. 3 years)
  • Experience in one or several of the following is a plus: connectivity, cable technology, electronics
  • Fluent German/Swiss German (C1 level or higher) and either one between English and French languages (B2 level or higher)
  • A third language is a plus

  • Good communication skills to develop trust communication channel with customers
  • Proactive, positive and solutions-oriented with problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong team player (both inside the Sales department and within the entire organization)
  • Interest or personal knowledge in mechanical engineering is a plus
