For our IT Department at Fischer Connectors, we are looking for a System Administrator to support the assigned facility and its users in the daily operations, in terms of local network and hardware/software systems.
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE
- Level 1 and 2 IT support
- Monitoring and daily checks on systems
- Deal with hardware and software incidents: diagnose the nature and origin of incidents and implement corrective measures
- Support users for MS Office or other PC topics
- Desktop/Laptop setup and distribution
- Network configuration, troubleshooting and support
- Work with various IT stakeholders to provide solutions to user issues
- Keep IT management up to date with local and system changes
- Manage priorities according to criticality and business impact
- System administration tasks:
- Administer the IS: management and assurance of the proper functioning of the hardware and software park
- Servers: AD, file, application, network and telecoms, mailbox, VPN, app. trades and Windows
- Backup and restore systems
- Supervision of systems and VOIP telephony
- Manage user access rights
- Document procedures related to information systems
- Optimization of IT environment performance
- Ensure a technology watch and continuous training of the latest IT tools
- Manage IT projects
THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology
- 3+ years of experience as Support Technician
- Solid experience with operating systems, hardware and printing
- Solid experience with Office and other Desktop Apps (Office 365, Desktop OS, Desktop E-mail)
- Deep knowledge of TCP/IP networks, including Firewall, VPN and Routing Protocols and other complementary ones (DHCP, DNS, FTP, NTP, SIP, etc);
- Familiarity with IP-based VOICE solutions and their protocols
- Experience with Windows Server management and Active Directory
- Experience with VMWare management (Vsphere, Esxi, etc.)
