For our UK subsidiary, in Waterlooville, near Portsmouth, we are looking for an experienced

 

REGIONAL SALES MANAGER (Southern Region)

 

to support our local growth, developing new and current customers with particular focus on design-in solutions for our most important market segments (Defence, Medical and Instrumentations).

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE

  • Responsible for the attainment of annual and monthly performance targets in defined region
  • Responsible for ensuring all accounts receive the appropriate level of support to ensure viability and level of sales
  • Execution of sales strategies to grow/secure existing and new business
  • Prospecting in assigned region to identify new accounts, execute strategy to penetrate
  • Manage projects, continually progressing by ensuring obstacles are overcome, client requirements are met and business secured
  • Prompt follow up of all quotations, leads and other demand creation activities
  • Participation in sales meetings and exhibitions (local, national, and international)
  • Planning & Controlling Responsibilities:
    • Effective use of company’s CRM system aligned to company’s best practice
    • Effective call planning to maximise each calls potential (Physical and Digital communication)
    • Manage the pipeline, adding new opportunities and updating existing opportunities, meeting subsidiary goals on pipeline quality
    • Monthly report, timely submissions, accurate forecasting, new business secured, new opportunities generated and objectives for the forthcoming month/ quarter

 

THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

  • Strong technical/engineering & commercial awareness (Diploma preferred)
  • Design-in led sales experience with harsh environments, minimum 5 years’ experience
  • IT literate
