HR Business Partner

Saint-Prex, Switzerland

For our HR Team based in St-Prex (VD), we are looking for an HR Business Partner to support the Swiss Plant management team and employees (approx. 160 employees) on all HR matters by acting autonomously as their dedicated HR Partner, as well as work on Swiss site-related activities and projects.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE

 

Swiss Plant HR Partnering

 

  • Act as the HR representative for the Swiss Plant organization
  • Coordination of yearly processes: Performance Management, Talent Review and Development, Compensation Review (base pay + bonus)
  • Manage recruitment processes
  • Coach and support managers in their daily HR management practice, incl. advising on HR best practices, tools and processes
  • Advise managers on internal mobility, such as promotions, including compensation/benefits package benchmarking and proposal
  • Advise on employee relations, support manager/employees in solving issues and conflicts, manage absenteeism, disciplinary actions and involuntary terminations where needed
  • Support business in implementing new organization designs and restructuring activities
  • Participate to the Health and Safety efforts
  • Plan, book and review budget for employees yearly trainings

 

Site activities

 

  • Coordinate and present the HR function at the new hires onboarding
  • Coordinate and manage internships programs
  • Take charge of local events and programs (summer jobs, etc.), with the support of apprentices
  • Participate to the employer’s branding, including local career’s forum and fairs

 

HR Operations and Projects

 

  • Act as an interface with HR Operations and Payroll colleagues for the Swiss Plant population
  • Support HR admin tasks related to work certificate for the Swiss Plant population
  • Manage ad hoc projects, including continuous improvement efforts

 

THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

 

  • HR Degree (Bachelor, Master or Brevet Fédéral)
  • 5+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner, autonomously supporting your population on all HR aspects, ideally in an industrial environment
  • Strong IT skills: Office suite; SAP knowledge a plus
