New Fischer L.U.C.™ disposable connector – where low cost meets high performance
To avoid the risk of cross-infections and protect the health and lives of patients and healthcare workers, the medical industry is more and more having recourse to disposable material. With its new Fischer L.U.C.™ (Limited Use Connector), Fischer Connectors introduces a solution that truly contributes to the competitive pricing and performance necessary for disposable medical devices. Directly mounted into a disposable hand piece, overmolded or mounted to a disposable cable, the new Fischer L.U.C.™ offers multiple configurations and optimally suits a wide array of applications, from catheters to surgical hand tools and more.

Cost-savings can easily be achieved with this new product. Mateable with all high performance Fischer panel and cable receptacles, the new Fischer disposable plug allows permanent equipment to keep working with high cycle lifetime receptacles (more than 5,000 mating cycles). Accepting a maximum cable diameter of 8.7mm, the new Fischer L.U.C.™ is available from 2 to 19 pins with solder or crimp contacts. Parts are capable of withstanding EtO and gamma sterilization processes, conforming with the requirements of the UL/IEC 60601 directives.

Fischer Hybrid Connectors – ‘Mix-and-match’ contacts for complex interconnection needs
Our hybrid connectors mix several functionalities into the same connector body. A single contact block can simultaneously transmit electricity (coax, high or low voltage, high current), fiber optics (singlemode, multimode), fluids or gas. Highly flexible, their 'mix and match' design solves complex interconnection requirements. Operating in the most stringent environment, our hybrid connectors can be optionally sealed to IP68. Sterilizable versions are available.

Fischer Plastic Connectors – lightweight and maximal shock protection
Specially designed to ensure maximum user safety and electric shock protection, our 4032 and 405 series have fully insulated plastic connector bodies. Both series are compatible with our metallic connectors. The plug and receptacle can be color-coded to enable easy identification and prevent wrong mating. Convenient to use, the SureGrip plug body can be securely and easily gripped with gloves. Resistant up to 5,000 mating cycles and completely sterilizable, the Fischer Connectors 4032 (ideal for miniature equipment) and 405 series are truly ideal for medical applications.
